Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockalton Upper is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockalton Upper, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a gentle west-facing slope in undulating pasture, where a raised circular area twenty-six metres across slopes to the southwest. A broad, partially levelled bank seven metres wide and a shallow external ditch six metres wide and twenty-six centimetres deep enclose the site. Small quarrying marks appear in the southern and southeast sections of the bank, while dumped material fills the northern part of the ditch.

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope in undulating pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 26m) sloping to the SW, enclosed by a broad, partially levelled bank (Wth 7m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.8m) and a shallow, external fosse (Wth 6m; D 0.26m). A field boundary curves to respect the N edge of the site. There are small areas of quarrying in the S and SE sections of the bank and dumping in the fosse at N. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
