Knockacarrigeen held a forty-metre circular enclosure on a sunny slope, but grass and time erased its ridge. Two neighbouring ringforts still stand to the south-east and north, making the vanished middle chamber feel like a deliberate absence rather than ordinary decay. The fairies may have simply moved, taking their wall with them, leaving behind a hollow where a life once fit.

On a SE-facing slope in grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1947) as a circular enclosure (D c. 40m). No visible surface trace survives. Two ringforts (GA043-104----, GA043-105001-) are visible to SE and N respectively.
