Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockacappul (tirerrill By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockacappul (tirerrill By.), County Sligo, Ireland. The roughly semicircular site sits in undulating pasture above a stream and steep-sided valley. A moss-covered rubble limestone wall encloses a low flat-topped natural hillock, while a man-made underground passage cuts through the interior.

In undulating pasture, overlooking a stream and steep-sided valley to N. Incorporating a low flat-topped natural hillock and truncated at W by a drystone field boundary. A roughly semicircular area (28m N-S; 21.5m E-W) defined by a moss-covered stone wall (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.9m) N-S. The wall consists of rubble limestone with occasional larger blocks and the only evidence for an external facing is a single upright limestone slab (H 1.25m; Wth 1m; T 0.4m) at E. There are no visible remains of this wall S-N. A fosse (D 0.8m) is evident N-NE. Due to the natural hillock the interior is raised above the level of the enclosing wall. The hillock is roughly circular and flat-topped (7m N-S; 6m E-W; H 0.75m) with gently sloping sides. There is a Man-made underground passage (SL035-015002-) in the interior.
