That is a ringfort, not a fairy fort. The chamber holds drystone walls and a lintelled roof inside the southern enclosure, while the long hollow stretches thirty-three metres toward the horizon. A modern breach has almost choked the entrance, hiding the squared-off end wall that marks where human hands stopped shaping the earth.

Within S enclosure of a conjoined ringfort (GA015-047001-). The visible remains comprise a long linear hollow, a short oval hollow and a partially intact chamber, all running on a NNW-SSE axis (L c. 33m). The intact section is just inside the ringfort bank at NNW, where a modern breach, now almost completely choked, allows a view of drystone-built side-walls and a lintelled roof. According to the landowner, this intact section of the Man-made underground passage continues towards NNW for a further c. 4m before terminating in a squared-off end wall.
