Fairy fort in Kilmoylerane South is a circular earthen ringfort atop an east-west ridge in County Cork, preserving a shallow external fosse, a southern gap, and a man-made underground passage in the northern half. Its L-shaped inner bank may mark a lost structure, while the hidden passage suggests the fort served more than ordinary pasture. The site remains a rare surviving example of a rath where human ingenuity and local belief still shape the same ground.

In pasture, atop E-W ridge. Circular, slightly raised area (26.3m N-S; 26.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.2m), with shallow external fosse (D 0.3m). Break in bank to S (Wth 3m). Low bank in SW quadrant (H 0.3m), L-shaped in plan (4m SW-NE; 6.8m NW-SE), may be remains of structure.
