Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilmacomma is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilmacomma, County Waterford, Ireland. The subcircular grass-covered area measures 26 metres north-south and 24 metres east-west towards the bottom of a north-facing slope. Its earthen bank is 4 to 5 metres wide, rises 0.5 to 2.2 metres internally at the upslope south and 0.8 to 1.1 metres externally from south to west, and reduces to a scarp reaching 1.8 metres elsewhere on the northeast to west arc. No visible fosse or entrance appears, the bank carries deciduous trees, and the interior shows cattle erosion.
Situated towards the bottom of a N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 26m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.5-2.2m at S (upslope); ext. H 0.8m at S to 1.1m at W) NE-W which is reduced to a scarp (max. H 1.8m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The bank is planted with deciduous trees and the interior is eroded by cattle. Archaeological testing (03E1513) c. 70-100m WSW of this monument produced no archaeological material (Fagan 2003, P 502, No. 1894).
