Mortons example shows how much recordable detail can fit inside one ordinary looking place. The difference is whether the numbers are written down or lost. The chamber is not remarkable because it is large. It is remarkable because it still contains a life that can be measured.

In pasture, on gentle NNW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 20m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.85m); external fosse (D 0.65m). Bank incorporated into field fence system to NNE and SE; break to E (Wth 5m) and SSW (Wth 5m). Fosse waterlogged; recut as drain to NNE, cutting back outer face of bank.
