Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Killacolla (shanid By.)

Killacolla holds a rare double-ringed fort where two earthen banks surround a narrow ditch, creating a deeper chamber than most local strongholds. The outer circle broke under later field boundaries, but the inner wall still traces an unbroken path across the north-facing hillside. People may have built the first ring for pride or protection, then added the second when danger grew serious enough to demand more room for memory and resistance.
