What is recorded here

Thirty-eight metres of forgotten wall circles Kilkerrin grassland, its shallow ditch barely visible beneath a house, garden and laneway. The fort has surrendered most of its shape to time and neighbourly convenience, leaving only a faint scar and the suggestion of an outer bank. What remained may have been a home, a boundary marker or a child's climbing mound, but the land still holds the ghost of a deliberate circle.

In gently undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (D 38m) defined by a scarp and external fosse, with traces of a possible outer bank from N to E. A house and garden disturb the fosse at S, and a laneway encircles it from SW through W to NW.
