Kilgobbin is a grassland ringfort in County Limerick, Ireland, located 150m north of 18th century Kilgobbin House and 70m west of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Cloonanna. The 1840 OS 6-inch map depicts a circular-shaped area defined by a bank, while the 1897 OS 25-inch map shows an irregular shaped area with internal dimensions of 31m NE-SW x 16m NW-SE and external dimensions of 44m NE-SW x 32m NW-SE. The enclosing bank runs from NNE through S to NW, with a scarp from NW to NNE, though vegetation now covers much of the site.
