Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilduff Middle

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Kilduff Middle, County Cavan, is a slightly raised circular area with an internal diameter of 31.2 metres, enclosed by a low scarp and shallow fosse. Its perimeter has been incorporated into the field boundary, and the original entrance is no longer recognisable. The site survives as a ringfort, its human purpose blurred into local story, yet its shape remains clear enough to suggest someone once drew a line around life itself.
