Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilcar is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilcar, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures 25.9m north-south and 25.2m east-west, with an earthen bank reaching 0.9m externally and an entrance at east-southeast. A field wall crosses the southern perimeter, while Rath lies 180m to the northeast in the undulating landscape.
In an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.9m N-S; 25.2m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.9m) with no visible fosse, and with an entrance at ESE. An E-W field wall overlies the perimeter at S. Rath (RO048-072----) is c. 180m to the NE.
