Kilbreedy holds a broken earthen ring where a road cut through ancient boundaries. The bank still rises half a metre on the north and east, enclosing a level pasture that may have sheltered people before it sheltered grass. What was lost is not gone completely because the shape remains visible in the slope.

In rough pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (25.6m N-S; 26.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.5m) SE->NE. Bank is truncated by public road NE->SE. Bank is best preserved NW->NE but dips at WNW. Interior under pasture and level except for slight hollow immediately inside bank N->NE. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
