What is recorded here

Kilballyowen holds an earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands yet named for fairy folk. The clay bank still stands against time, marking a place where ordinary life and local belief collided. People may have lived inside, watched the land or fled danger, but the fairy label suggests the site felt more alive than a common farm. That much is written in the name itself.
