Fairy fort in Inch, County Cork: a 35-metre earthen ring on a west-facing pasture slope, with a six-metre gap and shallow outer ditch. People may have lived there, fenced stock, or avoided it after dark; the earth still draws a circle instead of explaining itself.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (35.5m N-S; 34.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1m) with external fosse (max. D 2m), shallow to W; counterscarp bank to NW. Gap (Wth 6m) in bank to W. Just inside and parallel to bank is low ridge NE->SSE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
