Inane is an earthen ringfort in County Cork, Ireland. A circular grassland area about 23.6 metres across is enclosed by an earthen bank about 1.4 metres high on an NE-facing slope. The site is heavily overgrown, so the fort is less a sharp ruin than a hidden local shape, the kind of place where human hands and fairy legend become hard to separate.
