Fairy forts across Ireland mark boundaries between human law and older, unfathomable life. In Gowerhass, the earthen ring may have served that same purpose, a place where transformation happens instead of ordinary conversation. The chamber has no roof, no visible door and no human owner, yet it still shapes everyone who enters. What looks like a dead place may be a living teacher, waiting for patience and imagination.
