No visible rampart, no chamber, no surviving chamber wall. Only absence, overlap and repeated human return. The location is Gortnaskeha. The chamber is missing. The chamber is not the point. The point is the repeated return to that place, the repeated shaping of that place, the repeated belief that the place was worthy of being completed. The chamber is a ghost. The chamber is also a measure of the person who keeps returning it.

Internal diameter 36m N-S, 35m E-W Lissadromeen/Lios an Droirnm (ringfort of the little ridges). This univallate rath has a small stream running along the exterior of the W sector. The site consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank that is a maximum of 1.7m high externally and on average .6m above the interior. On average the width of the bank at the base measures 6m. The entrance lies to the E where it measures c 4m in width and was possibly stone lined. The above description is derived from C.
