Fairy fort in Gortaganny is a subcircular earthen ringfort on a south-facing ridge slope in County Galway, measuring about thirty-five metres north-south and twenty-seven metres east-west. Its inner scarp, fosse and partial outer bank still mark the edge of a place where people may have lived, hidden or played long before the grass took back most of the shape. The southwest entrance faces down into the land like an invitation, while the missing eastern bank suggests time has been chewing the fort from one side.

On S-facing slope of a ridge in grassland. Overgrown-subcircular rath (N-S 35m, E-W 27m), in fair condition, defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The outer bank survives only from NE to E. There is an entrance at SW.
