What is recorded here

Gorraun holds two earth rings, one large and one small, locked together on an east-facing slope where overgrowth has swallowed the boundary. The land kept its shape through human forgetting, suggesting the rings served life, defense or ritual before memory faded. They remain a fairy fort only in nickname, yet the name captures what the earth still does: it resists easy entry and waits for patience.

Site inaccessible at time of visit due to dense overgrowth, located on the E facing slope of rising. Depicted on 1912 edition of OS 6-inch map as large circular enclosure with smaller enclosure (OF043-045002-) immediately to the E.
