Located on a rise in an undulating, low-lying landscape. This is a D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 18.5m N-S; 18m E-W) with an uneven surface defined by a low bank or an external scarp (at W: Wth 3m; H 1.4m). There is no visible fosse or entrance. The perimeter is truncated by an E-W field drain and bank at S, and another N-S filed bank clipped the E edge. Some relict field banks cordon off the SE quadrant. The external field banks had been removed by 2000 (OSAP).
