What is recorded here

One chamber, one door, one living edge. An adult could stand inside the whole place, touch both walls, and still have room to turn. The chamber was not a display case for a dead woman. It was a working room for a living woman who refused to leave her district in darkness. She could have gone elsewhere. She did not. She built a visible anchor in her own area and invited other women to use it. The chamber is still there. It is not a curiosity. It is a reminder that refusal to disappear is a musical act.

Raised circular area (int. dims. 42m N-S; 40.2m E-W) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a deep, well-defined fosse replaced by a roadway from SSW-SE. A blocked-up break in the bank at SSE probably represents original entrance. The interior has been planted with coniferous trees.
