What is recorded here
On a N-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Circular area (diam. 44.7m N-S; 43.1m E-W) enclosed by compact earth and gravel bank (W 1.8m crst, 6.3m base; int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2.07m) and outer fosse (W 3.3m; D 1.06m). The fosse is particularly evident on the E side. Hazel-nut trees growing around the bank, otherwise clear of vegetation. Gap in the N quadrant (Wth 11.5m) is indicated on 2nd (1907) ed. OS 6-inch map. No other entrance feature visible, though a gap (Wth 2m) has been broken through in the SW quadrant. In the W quadrant the bank appears to have been disturbed as it has a wider, flattened profile.
