Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Galbertstown Upper is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Galbertstown Upper, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a south-east-facing slope in pasture and preserves a roughly circular area 34.5 metres across. A clay and gravel bank 3 metres wide and 1.22 metres high on the outside surrounds the interior, while a ditch 2.7 metres wide and 0.63 metres deep and a smaller outer bank 1.3 metres wide and 0.5 metres high remain beside it. A gap has been broken through the bank in the south-east quadrant, and a road running north-east to south-west along the north-west side has damaged the bank.

Located on a SE-facing slope in undulating terrain in pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. 34.5m E-W; N-S) enclosed by a clay and gravel bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.63m; ext. H 1.22m), a fosse (Wth 2.7m; D 0.63m) and an outer bank (Wth 1.3m; ext. H 0.5m). A gap has been broken through the bank in the SE quadrant. The interior slopes slightly to the SE and was nettle-filled at the time of inspection. Some large stones protrude from the external face of the inner bank which is quite steep in profile. A road extending NE-SW along the NW side of the site has damaged the bank. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
