Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Galbertstown Upper is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Galbertstown Upper, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a gentle northeast-facing slope in undulating pastureland, with another ringfort located to the north. The oval enclosure contains a steep bank, a deep flat-bottomed ditch and a counterscarp, though heavy vegetation prevents measurement of its total diameter. A possible entrance marks the northwest quadrant, while some quarrying has affected the western ditch.

Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in undulating pastureland with a nearby ringfort (TN047-053) to the N. No diameters were obtainable due to the overgrown nature of the site. Depicted as an oval enclosure on the latest ed. (1952-3) OS 6-inch map the site is enclosed by a steep bank (Wth 2.1m; int. H 1.19m; ext. H 2m), a deep flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 3m; D 1.07m) and a counterscarp (Wth 1.6m; ext. H 0.3m). There is a possible entrance (Wth c. 1.6m) in the NW quadrant. Some quarrying has taken place in the fosse at W. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
