Foilogohig once held a levelled ringfort wide enough for thirty-nine yards of shadow, but human hands or hunger erased the mark. John Angland owns the forgotten ground, depriving curiosity of a destination. What rages inside is not a palace but a missing shape, a hole in the world where memory should be.

Bowman (1934, 447) recorded levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 39yd) on John Angland's land. Exact location not known.
