Fairy fort in Finnure, County Galway: a 45 m circular earthen rath in low grassland, its bank broken into gaps and choked with conifer trees, two small sheds pressed against the outer edge at the northeast. It is the kind of place where human urgency and fairy mischief become hard to separate: a ring large enough to hold lives, yet so eroded and overgrown that it seems to give back more mystery than answer.

In low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 45m) defined by a bank, which is breached by numerous gaps and is overgrown with conifer trees.
