Fairy forts are not for the living. That much is clear. The name does the work of every warning bell. What is forbidden must be off limits. What is off limits must be kept off limits. This is the whole instruction. The rest is temptation.

In pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. However, it is now apparent as roughly oval area (38m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.25m; Wth 4m) E->SW, but scarp very indistinct elsewhere (H 0.15m; Wth 4m).
