On a low rise of ground in gently undulating pasture. Farthingstown House located 100m to the S. Circular area (diam. 38m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an earthen bank best preserved from S-W-WNW, elsewhere it has been reduced to a scarp and wide shallow outer fosse. No entrance feature visible.
