Fairy forts hide in plain sight, wearing grass and forgetting people. Farrandeligeen is no different: a circular grass patch on a hillside, unremarkable except that it is perfectly round and slightly higher than the land around it. Walk past it and it is nothing. Stand inside it and the shape becomes obvious, as if the ground had drawn a circle and waited for someone to notice.

In rough grazing, on break in S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by scarp (H 6m) to S; sharp rise to N. Interior level; N half heavily overgrown.
