Fairy fort in Farranaspig, County Kerry: a circular earthen enclosure, about forty metres across on the 1846 map, standing on a north-facing pasture slope. Local information says it was levelled in the 1970s, leaving a low rise, stronger on the east and south, with a possible underground passage inside. A second rath lies about a hundred metres west, as if the field once held more than one circle of human life.

In pasture, on a N-facing slope. This rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. According to local information, it was levelled in the 1970s. The present remains consist of a roughly circular area (c. 32m E-W; c. 30m N-S) defined by a low rise which is more pronounced along the E and S arcs. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (KE066-043001-) in the interior. A second rath (KE066-042----) lies c. 100m to the W.
