Fairy fort in Farranablake East is a circular cashel forty-five metres across, its drystone wall collapsed except along the west and north-west where field walls have swallowed the rest. A barn and water tank now occupy the north-east interior while a man-made underground passage cuts through the south-west quadrant, suggesting the ring once served more than pasture. The shape endures in undulating Galway land even though human hands have repeated, covered or reused its boundary.

In undulating pastureland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 45m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall best preserved from WNW to NNW, elsewhere field walls overlie the enclosing element. A barn and water tank have been erected in the NE quadrant of the interior. There is a Man-made underground passage (GA084-073001-) in the SW quadrant.
