Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Endrim

Poorly preserved ringfort consisting of a circular area (diam 42m N-S) defined by a poorly preserved scarp (ext. H 0.5m avg.) with no evidence of an external fosse or entrance feature. Field fence intersects scarp from S through W to N. Archaeological monitoring under licence no. 04E0651 was required as part of the planning schedule for a single-house development adjacent to a ringfort (SMR 14:7) at Endrim, Ferbane.
