What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Dysert, though local memory holds that a fairy fort once stood there. People may have built the earthen ring for residence or defense, then withdrew when the field changed hands or purpose. The forgetfulness suits the place: a fort lost before recording, leaving only the shape of absence behind.
