Dunmore holds a broken ring where human hands first shaped the earth. The fairies inherited the hole later, popping through stone gaps to dance in the dark. They never left. They are still circling inside the hill, waiting for someone stupid enough to join them.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Originally circular (diam. 33m N-S) enclosed by and partially incorporated into trapezoidal field. Low earthen bank visible inside field boundary ESE->SSW (H 1.1m) and NNE->NE; with shallow external fosse. Rubble and stones dumped in interior. Locally known as "fort".
