Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Duncummin is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Duncummin, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a very slight north-facing pasture slope and preserves a circular raised area 15 metres across. A steep-sided, flat-topped earthen bank encloses the area, reaching 1.2 metres externally and 0.45 metres internally, while traces of an external ditch 3 to 4 metres wide remain beside it. The bank is absent from the north-east, where a slight irregular scarp defines the edge instead.
On a very slight N-facing slope in pasture. Circular slightly raised area (diam. 15m) enclosed by a steep sided flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.2m; Wth at top 1.4m; overall Wth. 5.4m) with traces of an external fosse (Wth 3-4m). From N-E the bank is absent and the ringfort is defined by a slight irregular scarp. A NNW-ESE orientated lane lies along the line of the fosse NE-ESE. Either of two breaks in the bank, one at SSW (Wth 4m) and one at NW (Wth 4m), could mark the position of the original entrance. Interior slopes slightly facing N and is clear of overgrowth.
