Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Drumrooghill

Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a broad ENE-WSW drumlin ridge. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 33m N-S; 30.3m E-W) defined by traces of an overgrown earthen bank that is removed entirely SW-NNW and largely reduced to an external scarp (at SSE: H 1.6m). There are also slight traces of an outer fosse, and the original entrance is probably that at ESE.
