One chamber, one door, two rings of dirt and a flat roof of grass. That is all Drummole keeps. The fairies never entered because the house had no walls high enough to trap them. They walked through the door, across the causeway and out the other side.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 38m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks with outer fosses. From ESE-SE and from SSW-N a modern field boundary encircles the site. Corresponding breaks in banks with causeway across inner fosse at E represents original entrance.
