What is recorded here

Drummeen West holds a earthen ringfort that people still call a fairy fort, blending human history and local wonder in one name. The earthwork stands in County Clare as a ancient boundary between the living world and the story world. It may have been a home, a marker, or a place where the ordinary and unusual still touch.
