Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Drumbaun is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Drumbaun, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies pasture on a gentle north-facing slope, forming an oval area enclosed by an earthen bank and an external dry fosse. Numerous gaps occur in the bank, while the northern interior rises to compensate for the hillslope. Field boundaries, a lane, a stream and a small disused quarry occupy the surrounding landscape.
In pasture, on a gentle N-facing slope. An oval area (46m NE-SW; 40.7m NW-SE) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.5m). An external flat-bottomed dry fosse (Wth 6m; D 0.8m) is evident SSE-N. Numerous gaps occur in the bank. The N portion of the interior is raised to compensate for the hillslope. A field boundary, with a lane and stream beyond, skirts the bank at NE. A second field boundary (on a NNE-SSW axis) crosses the W half of the interior. There is a small disused quarry in the field to E.
