Fairy fort in Drumbar, County Cavan: a raised circular area about fifty metres across, enclosed by an earthen bank and the remains of a fosse, with a stream bounding it from the west and north. The east, south and west bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary, while a modern boundary running north-northwest to south-southeast divides the site into two roughly equal portions. The original entrance is no longer recognisable, but the ring still stands as a rath, a place set apart, where human life and fairy story both have room to turn.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 50m) enclosed by an earthen bank and the remains of a fosse which is bounded by a stream from W-N. From E-S-W bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. A modern field boundary running NNW-SSE divides the site into two roughly equal portions.
