Yes. An earthen ringfort in Dromlough, County Cork, wears a fairy name because people still saw more than fence and field in its circular bank. Large slabs stand on edge along the outside, while the top rises two metres before dropping inward to a shallow rim. That shape suggests a place for keeping, watching or remembering long before written accounts arrived.

In pasture, atop crest of hillock. Circular area (23m N-S; 23.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen stone-faced bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2m). Large slabs, set on edge, act as external facing. Bank, to W and N, incorporated into field fence system and topped by stone wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
