What is recorded here

Dromkeen East, County Kerry: a circular earthwork recorded in 1841 and erased by 1916. It may have been a farmyard, a boundary marker, or a child's fort built from river clay. The land kept its shape long enough for one survey, then gave it back to grass and rain.

Situated SE of KE015-027----, this circular enclosure is marked on the 1841-42 OS map. It is not marked on the 1916 edition and no surface trace survives. The above description is derived from C.
