What is recorded here

That is the shape of a small holder, not a fairy tale. A round bank and ditch still mark the ground in Drewscourt East, worn by cattle and hidden by bushes. People may have lived there before the pasture, but the earth has kept the shape while the names and tools were lost.

In level pasture. Circular area (28m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank ENE->W (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m) and defined W->ENE by scarped edge (H 0.9m; Wth 4m), with external fosse (D 0.55m; Wth 3m) on full circumference. Enclosing element overgrown with trees and bushes.
