What is recorded here

Two earthen rings once stood in Dooneen, now vanished or hidden beneath grass and memory. They were human-made, likely shelters or markers for a lost community, yet local tradition still calls them fairy forts. The distinction matters less than the shape they left behind: a circle of soil that resisted forgetting.

According to Power (197, 20) there were 'two lioses or remains of them' in this townland. Exact locations not known.
