Fairy forts in Dooneen: two earthen rings, now lost to grass and memory. They marked human life before records, perhaps farms, perhaps shelters, perhaps boundaries for seasons and ceremonies. The forges of imagination still turn there, shaping what absence resists.

According to Power (197, 20) there were 'two lioses or remains of them' in this townland. Exact location not known.
