What is recorded here
Doonaha East holds a forgotten ringfort where clay and stone still trace the shape of a vanished home. The local name is a warning, not a joke, for fairies occupy every place humans stopped understanding. That much is certain. What the fort resisted, who it excluded and when it fell silent have all drifted away like the people it once shaped.
