Yes. An Anglo-Norman castle stood in Dillagh before its stones were stripped for other builds. The fort name preserved the shape of that lost structure long after the walls vanished.

Marked 'Fort' on OS 1836 ed. and 'Site of' on 1876 ed. Situated on the summit of a drumlin hill. Levelled c. 25 years ago (local information) and modern farm buildings erected on its site. A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Dillagh, likely dating to the early medieval period, was situated on a drumlin hill and marked on early Ordnance Survey maps. It was levelled approximately 25 years ago for modern agricultural use, though local tradition associates such sites with fairy folklore and ancient habitation.
