Fairy fort in Dillagh, County Cavan: a raised circular area, about 39.7m inside, enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a narrow waterlogged fosse recut from west through northwest to north. The bank survives best from northwest through north to north-northeast, but the original entrance has become unrecognisable. It stands as a ringfort, a rath, perhaps once a home, a boundary, a challenge, or a warning about who could enter and when.
