Derrynasafagh holds a twenty-foot clay ring where human hands shaped the earth before memory faded. The bank still stands one metre high, broken in two places as if inviting entry rather than keeping out. Cows graze inside the fort now, unaware they walk the footprint of someone who lived there when the slope was new. The fairies may have taken the stories, but they left the shape behind.

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 20.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.3m). Bank heavily overgrown; incorporated into field fence system to N where one section composed of stone. Break in bank to E and W (Wth 2m).
